PORTLAND, ME – the Maine Real Estate and Development Association (MEREDA) recently recognized the most notable commercial development projects of 2013 at their annual Spring Conference. The Sanford Mill renovation project was among those projects recognized. Wright-Ryan Construction served as the Construction Manager on the renovation, restoring and converting the historic Goodall Textile Mill to create more than 22,000 square feet of commercial office, retail, and restaurant space on the mill’s lower level. The upper floors feature 36 apartments, including 9 subsidized apartments. The historic rehabilitation of the property reused the significant early twentieth century architectural features of the building while upgrading the building systems.
