Marquis Lofts features six, 1- and 2-bedroom condominiums located at the top of Portland’s Munjoy Hill. Wright-Ryan removed an existing 1951 church building which was already vacated by its most recent congregation in favor of a new, bigger space that better suited their growing programming. Wright-Ryan was able to reuse the majority of the existing foundation from the demolished church to begin constructing the condominiums. Each loft-style condominium provides 900 square feet of living space, a private balcony, and ground level indoor parking for one vehicle. The units are highly efficient lofts, with increased attention to insulation and air sealing.
