Wright-Ryan Construction built Kimball Court Condominiums as a three-story addition on top of an existing two-story structure. Located in a densely developed block of Congress Street, the renovation crew utilized the interior first floor to store supplies and equipment. Because of space constraints and the need to keep traffic moving on two sides of the building, each delivery had to be carefully planned and executed. The addition took place largely from the Congress Street sidewalk, requiring sensitivity to public safety and access. Formerly a department store, the location is now home to 23 loft condominiums with three retail units at street level.
