Bayside Anchor is a 38,760 square foot, 45-unit multi-family complex on the Portland peninsula. The Passive House Certified building design is based on maximizing energy efficiency and improved air quality, while also helping promote a quiet living environment. Bayside Anchor’s development program won the “Lowering the Cost of Housing Competition,” a national effort to support and highlight new approaches to achieving high-quality, lower cost affordable housing for diverse populations. The apartments include energy efficient measures such as solar photovoltaic panels on the roof as well as a courtyard for storm water management.
