PORTLAND, MAINE – The Press Hotel, completed by Wright-Ryan Construction, was counted among the world’s best new hotels, according to Condé Nast Traveler’s 20th annual HOT List, released on Wednesday. The carefully vetted list features a select collection of 60 winners spanning six continents. The Press Hotel was one of only thirteen U.S. hotels to be included in this exclusive group. The new Autograph Collection property made another top-tier cut as well. When asked by CNN to, “pick a baker’s dozen of their favorite properties from the list of 60,” Condé Nast included The Press Hotel in the ranks.
Wright-Ryan served as the Construction Manager on the historic conversion of the tapestry brick and stone Gannett Building to The Press Hotel.
