DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine – Wright-Ryan is overseeing the overhaul of the historic former Mayo woolen mill complex. The project is comprised of a collection of former industrial buildings that is being converted into a mixed-use complex. When finished, the complex will feature a high-tech business center, 22 apartments, retail shops and offices, artist studios, and an internet café. A restaurant, an eight- to twelve-room boutique hotel and a year-round indoor farmers market will also be focal points. U.S. Senator Susan Collins praised the transformation of the property in an October 15, 2014 article from The Piscataquis Observer. “I think this kind of mixed-use development with commercial space and apartments is the future of towns like Dover-Foxcroft. This is such a beautiful area, so this will be a real boost to the region,” Collins shared. The mixed-use complex is expected to, “be a boon for residents of Piscataquis County,” as described in a recent article by the Bangor Daily News.
